The Letter Hood is a key piece within the Home Capsule, designed as a quiet reflection on origin, memory, and place. Constructed from heavyweight 420gsm natural twisted cotton terry jersey, the piece is built for structure and durability while maintaining a soft, worn-in hand feel. A garment-dyed contrast hood anchors the silhouette, while intentional distressing throughout the garment, including around the hood, creates a lived-in character that reinforces the capsule's narrative of time, memory, and everyday wear.

On the upper back, an EARLS branded felt applique is applied with a zig-zag stitch for a raw, crafted finish, paired with a vegan leather patch for refined contrast. Inside, a custom print inspired by the carpet from Lewis's childhood home transforms a familiar domestic texture into layered memory.
